There are two roads of life that Jesus mentions in the Bible, in Matthew 7:13 & 14.
The first road Jesus mentions is the broad road in which we are all born. This road ends in death; not just physical death, but spiritual death. According to the Bible in Romans 3:10 –12 “… there is none that doeth good, no not one.” Also, in Romans 3:23 all people have sinned against God. Romans 6:23 says “…the wages of sin is death.” And according to the Bible, in Romans 3:20 we as people cannot save ourselves.
The second road Jesus mentions is the narrow road that goes through the strait gate and this road leads to heaven. Only a few people will find the narrow road. God’s love provides the direction to the narrow road. In Romans 5:8-9 “God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood we shall be saved from wrath through him.” To find the narrow road place your complete trust in Jesus Christ. In Romans 3:28 it says we are “…justified by faith” and in Romans 10:9”That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
Believe that Jesus Christ alone can save you and you shall walk on that narrow road and enter through the strait gate to heaven.
